What ingredients do you need?
- 500g chicken, cut into medium-sized pieces
- 20g IndiSpice Co. Chicken Fry Masala
- Water (as needed to make a paste)
- Salt to taste (if needed -You mostly wont need it !)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
- Oil for frying
How to prepare the Kerala style chicken fry ?
1. Marinate the Chicken:
- Mix 20g of IndiSpice Co. Chicken Fry Masala with enough water to make a smooth paste. Optionally, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- Coat the chicken pieces evenly with the paste and let them marinate for 30-40 minutes.
2. Fry the Chicken:
- Heat oil in a deep pan. Once hot, fry the marinated chicken pieces in batches on medium heat until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
3. Serve:
- Serve hot with lemon wedges, sliced onions, and fresh coriander.
